Michael is a PhD student at Eastern University in the Marriage and Family Therapy program.  He has extensive background in campus ministries in and provides counseling care to ministry workers and pastors through the Rest Initiative. He also has experience with racial trauma resolution and is certified in Trauma-Informed Narrative Focused Care from the Allender Center of the Seattle School of Psychology and Theology where he serves as Adjunct Faculty.

He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Rachael, two sons Jamison and Silas, and newborn daughter Evelyn.
